Verona is a comedy writer performer best known as the matchmaking host of new ITV2 dating show Secret Crush.

She is part of a comedy duo with Donna Preston, known for their BBC Three Threesomes called Fully Blown based on two wannabe rappers which has just been nominated for Broadcast Digital Award 2020. They can currently be seen on new Sky show Dating No Filter and also recently appeared on Celebrity Come Dine with Me and 8 out of 10 Cats. They were also recently seen on new weekly E4 entertainment show Pants on Fire alongside celebrity guests and hosted by Emma Willis.

Verona will be starring the new series CBBC’s Horrible Histories and and hit Netflix series Soon to be announced.

Secret Crush

Verona Rose will be joining new ITV2 dating show Secret Crush as South London's very own matchmaking cupid.

In this 20 x 60” series lovestruck singletons who’ve been harbouring feelings from afar finally reveal their hidden passion to their unknowing crush.

Whether they’ve been secretly dreaming of dating their best friend, colleague or gym buddy, it’s time for the lovelorn to publicly admit the desires they’ve been keeping bottled up.

But will their affections be reciprocated? Is love going to blossom? Or should their secret crush have actually stayed secret? For the four hopefuls in each episode, it’s time to find out.

Dating No Filter

Some of the UK’s best comedians will watch on in delight as members of the public head out on blind dates across the country in a brand-new comedy dating show, Dating No Filter, coming to Sky One and TV streaming service NOW TV from 25th February 2021.

The 8x30’ factual entertainment series will see pairs of singletons sent on first dates, with intertwined quick-witted commentary from comedians such as Daisy May Cooper, Joel Dommett, Josh Widdicombe, Tom Allen, Suzi Ruffell, Susan Wokoma, Tom Lucy, Rosie Jones, Judi Love, Chunkz and Yung Filly. The comedy duos will watch and weigh in on the dates, giving hysterically unfiltered observations on every awkward interaction and heart-warming moment as they root for love to conquer all! The singletons will be treated to a range of activities to try to break the ice; from axe throwing and ballroom dancing, to pole dancing and a visit to a goat farm!
